Chair Mats on Irregular Floors?
A customer recently inquired about using our Chair Mats on an irregular floor:
“I am looking for a mat to put on a floor of large,(approx. 14"), tiles upon which a desk chair can roll comfortably. Perhaps a thick rubber mat??? Am afraid that the ridges of grout would preclude use of your hardwood type...”
Actually, our chair mats will work very well on such floors - the mats have rubber pads on the bottom that are designed to adapt to any irregular surface including ceramic tiles. When ordering for use on extremely irregular types of floors, please inform us when placing the order and we can apply additional pads to the base of the mat for otimum performance.
