Picking the Right Book Rack or Binder Rack
When looking for book racks, it's a good idea to select racks that will blend in with the decor and enhance the beauty of the room you intend on using them in. This will assist in reflecting the meticulousness of your organization and create confidence in your clientèle. The book racks and binder racks we offer come in three distinct models and are made of different kinds of woods that can match your office decor. They are designed to allow them to be used on desk tops or other free standing surfaces.
Our standard desktop bookracks are constructed with a 17” length, a depth of 7 ¾” and a height of 8”. You can place 16” books with ease in these racks. The divider that comes built into these racks can slide across the width of the rack to act as a bookend to hold the books upright if there are only a few books on the rack. The empty rack weighs a mere 6 pounds and can be placed with ease on desktops or cabinets to hold those inevitable reference books that help run your organization and will add a scholarly touch to the ambiance of the room.
The Cherry version of our bookrack of the above rack is more elegantly finished and the edges are embedded with the cherry series insignia in brass and gold plating, but without a sliding divider. These models are available in a Natural Cherry or a Dark Cherry finish. The Dark Cherry version (dubbed “Seasoned Cherry”), is created by an application of a dark stain to cherry hardwood. The bookracks in this series weigh in at 7 pounds.
Binder racks are larger versions of the bookrack. These binder racks have been designed to hold large 8 ½” x 11” binders. The binder rack is about 17” long and has a depth of 10”. While the length of the binder rack is the same as that of the book racks, it has a height of 10 inches and weighs 8 pounds. The integral slider of the book racks is also not used in this model. The binder racks are available in oak, walnut and mahogany.
The bookracks and binder racks listed above are made from 3/4" thick solid hardwood. No veneers or plywoods are used and all pieces are assembled with high quality wood craftsman's joints and glues. Users are not required to assemble any parts, they come completely ready to use. They all have natural wood color finishes (except for the darker stain of the dark cherry finish), and are coated with a lacquer finish to protect the wood.
The book racks and binder racks can also function as a reading stands without any modifications at all. You can simply place the book on the rack and use it as a reading stand as the angle is just right for the purpose!
Bookends are alternates to bookracks and can be used as freestanding units to hold items that cannot be accommodated elsewhere.
Complementary office desk accessories can be purchased to set off the beauty of these luxurious racks and add to the grace and beauty of the room decor.
So, select bookracks, binder racks and bookends to set off the decor of your office, create the right impressions and imbue your room with the personality that attracts your clientèle and brings you success!
